I hear that the royal wedding couple plans to spend their honeymoon in - of all places - Jordan.  Apparently the bride spent time there as a child.

I'm sure the Queen was properly advised by her Foreign Secretary William Hague that, at this particular time, of all other places in the world - including Helmand province, Benghazi and the Fukushima beachfront - Jordan was really the safest bet right now.

Only 136 protestors were arrested in Jordan today.

Well, at least they're not being shot like in Syria.

But, then again, the wedding is still a week away.

Truly the British foreign office is barking mad.
